U17WAC Qualifiers cast eye progress to China 2026

The journey to reach the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ China 2026 kicks off on October 13 for 26 teams targeting a berth at the expanded Finals. Eight places are available through the Qualifiers. The qualifying teams were split into eight groups in August, and only group winners will progress to China 2026, joining DPR Korea, Japan, Korea Republic, and hosts China PR, who automatically qualified.

The Qualifiers feature 11 teams aiming for their first Finals: Kyrgyz Republic, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, Northern Mariana Islands, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kuwait, Macau, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. The first matchday begins at 2pm in Dushanbe’s Republican Central Stadium, with the Philippines vs. Syria and Tajikistan vs. Malaysia.

Group B: Lebanon vs. Kuwait (4:15pm) and Saudi Arabia vs. Iran (8:15pm). Group C: Indonesia vs. Macau (3:30pm) and Myanmar vs. Macau (October 15). Group D: Vietnam vs. Guam (4pm) and Guam vs. Hong Kong, China (October 15, 4pm).

Northern Mariana Islands vs. Australia (7:30pm) and Singapore vs. Northern Mariana Islands (October 15, 7:30pm). Thailand vs. Turkmenistan (6:30pm) and Nepal vs. Turkmenistan (October 15, 6:30pm). Kyrgyz Republic vs. India (7pm) and Uzbekistan vs. Kyrgyz Republic (October 15, 7pm). Jordan vs. Bangladesh (7pm) and Chinese Taipei vs. Jordan (October 15, 7pm).
