Nigeria’s young table tennis talents have made the nation proud, as the country’s U19 and U15 Boys Teams emerged champions of the 2025 ITTF African Youth Championships in Lagos, Nigeria.
The U19 Boys Team secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Tunisia in the final, thanks to the outstanding performances of Kuti Matthew, Abdulbasit Abdulfatai, Fabunmi Matthew, and Atunwon Quadri.
In a similarly impressive display, the U15 Boys Team defeated Egypt 3-2, with Joseph Marvelous, Adeoye Hussein, Adebakin Tobi, and Joseph Victor leading the charge.
The National Sports Commission congratulates the entire team on their remarkable achievement and wishes all other participants good luck.
