The highly anticipated Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 is scheduled to take place on January 27, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco. The draw will determine the group stage opponents for the 24 qualified teams.
The ceremony, which will commence at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT/20:00 Cairo time), will be attended by representatives from the participating nations. This occasion will provide an opportunity for national teams to familiarize themselves with Morocco’s state-of-the-art match venues, training facilities, and hotel infrastructure.
The 24 teams will be divided into six groups, each consisting of four teams. The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the round of 16.
Morocco is set to host the AFCON finals for the first time since 1988, marking an exciting milestone for the North African nation. Notably, Morocco will also co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
