The Nigerian U18 women’s team defeated Uganda 71-67 in Pretoria, securing a spot in the Afrobasketball championship final. They will face Mali in the title game.
The Junior D’Tigress dominated the game, winning the first quarter 21-20 and extending their lead to 45-39 by halftime. Although Uganda intensified their effort in the third quarter, Nigeria maintained control, leading 61-54. The Junior D’Tigress sealed the victory with a 71-67 final score.
