NPFL24 MATCH DAY 6 PREVIEW Niger Tornadoes vs Enyimba Int’l
The Ikon Allah Boys are ready to turn the hit on their midweek visitors, Enyimba Int’l of Aba, as they hope to banish the memories of last weekend’s defeat in Lagos.
Hamza Abdulazeez Abara’s side are looking to maintain their hundred percent home record when they file out against the reigning NPFL champions.
One thing that could make this fixture interesting is the fact that both teams shares some things in common, as the present head coach of Niger Tornadoes Hamza Abara was with the people’s elephants a couple seasons back alongside Fatai Osho and together they guided the team to continental outing. Similarly, the likes of Abiodun Adebayo, Hassan Abubakar and Yahuza Bala where once on the payroll of the Aba giants.
The last time Enyimba visited Kaduna was the 2021/2022 full NPFL season and it’s ended in a defeat with Munir Idris grabbing the vital winning goal in a 2-1 scoreline.
Enyimba have three outstanding games as a result of their continental engagements and have lost one and won one out of the two games played thus far.
Tornadoes could count on the form of resurgent Yahuza Bala and enterprising Bashir Usman to wreck havoc, both players are on two goals each and are responsible for Tornadoes goals so far this season.
