Sagamu stood still for Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the all Progressives Congress APC Senatorial candidate for Ogun East district Sunday the 2 of October Year 2022.
It was a Mega Rally that Heralded the official commencement of his political tour of the nine local government areas in the Ogun East Senatorial District.
The chant of OGD TESTED AND TRUSTED, CONSIDER IT DONE, THE PROMISE KEEPER and so on rented the atmosphere as Otunba Gbenga Daniel, his amiable wife Yeye Olufunke Daniel and other members of his entourage torched ground at the Ita Akarigbo ground in Sagamu south west Nigerian.
Speaker after Speaker took turn to appreciate and thank the droves of supporters and admirers of Otunba Gbenga Daniel present at the mega rally venue, majorly party stalwarts and Faithful. They urged them to get their PVCs, vote for OGD and other APC candidates across board and ensure that their votes count in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Highlights of the event was an empowerment raffle draw sponsored by the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) which saw attendees go home with various mouth watering prizes which include sewing machines, grinding machines, a generator set, a deep freezer.
The Canival like atmosphere at the mega rally went into frenzy with the announcement of the winners of the 1st Prize, a Highlander Toyota SUV and the star prize of a mini agricultural tractor.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion include, Mr. Wale Edun representative of the Special Guest Of Honour, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC Presidential Candidate. Senator Gbenga Kaka, Senator Musliu Obanikoro, Solomon Ganiu, former deputy governors and current and past government functionaries of Ogun State amongst other notable personalities.
