Flying Eagles Head coach Ladan Bosso was among top class coaches and scouting agents who graced and monitor online the live streaming the just concluded 2nd edition of GS Magna scouting tournament held at the Lagacy Pitch, National Stadium,Surulere, Lagos.
The tournament, exclusively organized by a United Kingdom (UK) based FIFA certified Sports Aagency, GS Magna, featured some of the best grassroot football clubs in Lagos, to select top talents within the nook and cranny of the country that will be supported and further developed in transformation while taking their careers to the next level.
Ladan Bosso who recently guided the Nigeria U20 team to win the WAFU B in Niger Republic and qualified the team for the next Africa U20 Nations cup reckons the needs to fortified the U20 team in certain areas and graced the event for possibility of unearthing new gems.
“We are going round, just like why I am here now, to look for one or two players in certain positions to fortified the team.
“There are certain positions the technical crew has identified we need to improve on and I am here to see if we can get players who can do better in those positions.
“For any (new) players to have a place in that (U20) team he must be better than those we took to Niger”, Bosso concluded.
Collins Edwin FC defeated G12 football club by 3goals to 1 to win the June edition of the program.
Eight teams took part in the program namely Collins Edwin FC, G12 FC, Nath Boys, Emmydinho FC, Ajuwa FA, DePros Fc, The Charlessan FC and Dannaz Fc.
